In 2009, I took my first yoga class in my hometown of Folsom, California. I quickly realized that my love for fitness and my desire to be more mindful came together in one room. I moved to North Carolina in 2015 to be with my husband. After living there for 2 years, and giving birth to our first son Rowan, we moved to Colorado Springs. This is where I finally began my journey as a yoga teacher with Cambio School of Yoga. After finishing my training, I gave birth to our second son Finnley. Since then I have had a constant thirst for more knowledge of yoga, anatomy, mudras and meditation. Recently, life has brought us back to North Carolina.
I love teaching power vinyasa, and flow classes to anyone and everyone that walks into my class. Music is very important to me and I always have a well thought out playlist to move to during practice. Mandala flows are some of my favorites, so expect your body and mind to be challenged when you attend one of my classes. I usually start class with a short meditation and breath work to ground and support your practice. My hope for all of my students is to leave class feeling empowered, capable, nurtured and inspired so that you can take those feelings into your everyday life.
When I’m not teaching I am spending time outdoors with my husband, two boys and our dogs. Movement is a huge part of my life so you will find me lifting weights, doing burpees and finding new ways to challenge myself when I am off of my yoga mat. I love good coffee, meeting new people and going to the beach. I would love to connect with you and would be honored to lead you through your practice.
